Alice in Wonderland Cafe, Shinjuku, Tokyo, Japan

Another chain-restaurant I visited was the Alice in Wonderland Cafe and once again this was conveniently situated in Shinjuku. My cousin loves cute and themed restaurants/cafes so we decided to give it a try and it exceeded all of our expectations. The location of the cafe mimics that of the rabbit-hole as seen in the movie. It's set right at the basement of the building and even the waitresses themselves dressed up like Alice.

As it was late and we were on our way back to the apartment we just helped ourselves to a  light meal so my cousin shared the chicken and avocado pizza as you can see above. Even in regards to the presentation of the food, the theme of the cafe was clearly displayed. As you can see the Cheshire Cat's footprints were on our plate which we found extra cute and quirky!

There's always room for dessert and as you can see again theme of Alice in Wonderland being exhibited with the hearts representing that of Her majesty, the Queen of Hearts herself and clearly the desserts were placed to represent the Cheshire Cat once again. The dessert was absolutely sugary, fattening and delicious as it should always be!

Overall, although the food was pricey, it was a memorable experience not only because of the food but how strongly the theme was displayed in every aspect of the Cafe.

Till next time. Alex :)
